Ligurian by adoption, after studying art at Genoa's Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti, I spent over ten years in the world of antiques and restoration, experience which brought me into contact with beauty and the world of craftsmanship. But it has been my passion for oriental disciplines, which has seen me engaged for over forty years in practices such as Aikido, which has become a way of life for me, Kinomichi, Iaido, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, that has taught me the profundity of balance and inner searching. An unexpected gift, however, led me to discover the magical and alchemical world of ceramics, an encounter that radically changed my life. Finally, I have found in this art the perfect means to express my own personal sensibility, giving form to thoughts, emotions and states of mind. Ceramics is, for me, a language that evolves in relation with the material, a means of expression. Every piece I create is born from the desire to explore the beauty of forms, always seeking harmony and the perfect imperfection. With patience, I give myself over to the material, which guides me, to bring my works to life, works which speak of balance and transformation. In a continuous counterpoint that, for me is also a heartfelt connection between my inner world and the material universe that surrounds me.
